Now, let me serve on your platter, this sizzling hot news about Tony Shalhoub, who just recently kissed a triumphant moment.

Steve Carell has fallen short to the star of the comedy detective mystery series, ‘Monk’, as the later went on to win the Emmy Award, for the year 2011.

OMG! Tony is giving competition!

Steve Carell didn’t bag even one award for his performance on the show, whereas Tony has a good number of awards on his side.

Can we please have some applause for the actor, please?

It’s a truly glorious moment!

The reason I am so happy, and I am sure many of you would also be, is because I have seen this fine actor performing marvelously on the show.

Now I have another reason to justify my act – the one where I download the episodes of Monk.

We all love to watch you Tony, and we expect you to make your position stronger on the show and in this industry. We do wish to relish your performances all the more with the passing days, months and years!

Following the ‘Long Time No see’ syndrome, Mr. Tony Shalhoub?

Why aren’t you giving us a chance to watch you?

The famous phobic detective, Adrian Monk, of the San Francisco Police Department, in the TV series Monk, has been showing his antics for years.

But did you know that the Monk you catch online and otherwise, has become the winner of the title – Arab American of the year?

Looks like Tony Shaloub is not phobic of any awards!

As you know, awards and Tony are synonymous and his hide-and-seek affair with the Emmys is globally known.

Tony has won the glorious Emmy thrice and has been nominated for the same, several times, between 2003-2010.

Phew!

He has won the Golden Globe award for best actor too.

Awards in excess tend to become déjà vu and I bet Tony’s drawing room would be a perfect supplementing aspect to this.

But when something makes you proud about the person that you are, you hardly get a better example than him.

You know what!

Nominations in different categories, for Tony, have been the favorite gimmick of all the award functions, but the Arab community in Michigan has shown no qualms in selecting Tony as its premier symbol of Americanized success.

Tony has been adjudged the Arab-American of the Year, by the prestigious Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services.

He is to share the award with a former Army-General, George Joulwan.

When you are Lebanese like Tony, you can really feel gung-ho about the work that this ‘Monk’ has done over the years, to the development of the community, on all the levels, local as well as national!

By the way, did you think that a museum is just about preserving obsolete things?

Tony redefined this, when he delivered a speech about free educational pages on iTunes at the Dearborn-based Arab American Museum.

It seems that the film, ‘Feed the Fish’ has become a family affair for Tony Shalhoub of the Monk series.

Shalhoub is a Green Bay native and the entire film has been shot in the area.

Besides, Shalhoub’s nephew, Michael Matzdorff is the writer, editor, director and producer of the movie.

Wow!

Quite a multi-talented guy!

Shalhoub’s brother, Michael and sister, Susan also appear in the film, as Dr. Koosa and Nurse Joseph, respectively!

This is not the first time that Matzdorff is associated with Shalhoub, as he had earlier edited Shalhoub’s mockumentary, ‘Made-Up’ and has also edited Monk! This is something you must be aware of, if you catch the Monk full episodes online.

Matzdorff seems to be so impressed with Shalhoub’s acting caliber, that he was the one who persuaded him to take the role of the dominating Sheriff Andersen in ‘Feed the Fish’.

Shalhoub remarked, “I just liked the project — I liked the humor in it, and I like the fact that it’s about someone getting a fresh start, getting rejuvenated when they feel their life is in the toilet.”

Sounds interesting!

At least Shalhoub will no longer be the detective suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder,

But it is that OCD that makes us wanna download Monk episodes!

I had become so used to his character that I always recalled him as Monk and not Tony Shalhoub!

Coming back to ‘Feed the Fish’; the story is based on a children’s book author, Joe, who experiences a writer’s block and is not able to display his talent any further.

He meets Sif, a waitress and falls in love with her. Later, he even wins the trust of his over-protective father, played by Shalhoub.

Talking of Shalhoub reminds me of the finale of Monk, which I still access, as my conscience does not digest the fact that the series was cancelled after season 8.

I am lucky that the show is still available online.

In the finale of Monk, detective Adrian Monk finally solves the case of the murder of his wife.

This was quite an achievement for Monk and even the viewers who watch Monk season 8 episode 16 online are glad that the long awaited mystery was finally solved!
